Isn't March spring?

Isn't March supposed to be the start of spring?

Then WHY IS THERE A BLIZZARD OUTSIDE?

I swear Utah and Idaho get everything backwards.

In January and February the skies were blue.

We were rocken' the 40s and sometimes even the 50s.

As soon as we hit March. BAM. Gone.

As soon as I start shopping for swimsuits, and buying pretty

little sandals. As soon as I start dreaming of sunshine, and

shorts, and road trips, and oceans our good karma is gone.

When I take a peek through my little grey curtains all I see

is snow. Crazy horizontal snow that makes you feel like you're

in a Star Wars movie traveling at the speed of light.

The kind of snow and cold that leaves an inch of ice in your

high school teachers parking lot. That as you are trying to run inside as

fast as possible you slip and slide and flail your body before landing on the ground

completely undignified as your students stare awkwardly.

Yes. It happened.

Needless to say I'm sick of thick sweats and layering my socks.

I'm sick of shirts, with sweaters, and coats, with scarves and gloves.

Oh the wind is so bitter cold today! I swear it's warm everywhere but here. I am in desperate need of some warmth and since I can't get it outside I'm looking elsewhere via magazines and websites. I'm dreaming of the day when I can walk outside in a swimsuit and dress and be WARM! See you in 3 months summer!

Can I just say I am in lust and love with this sundress? It's amazing and beautiful and I want one!.... I could also take that olive green suit and maybe the body that's wearing it too.

My research on the 2011 Spring Fashion is in and you all need to get ready to run around barefoot, braiding those long locks, and getting in the mood to burn your bra. We are going natural/hippy.

And I just can't wait.

The next few posts I'll be doing will be on that wonderful new look that I just can't get enough of. (I can't decide if I like looking at all the new clothes because they're beautiful or because they're taken in the sunshine at the beach and I am CRAVING them both.)

If I had my long hair back I would definitely be incorporating these braids into my life. Hopefully some will still work on me.

Fashion.... just sayen'

Ok people. I've been wanting to write about this for a while, but I somehow don't feel fashionable enough. I'm probably not, but I'm going to do it always. And to start off my little fashion spill I'm going to talk about all those fashion bloggers I see everywhere these days. Especially those girls who seem to maybe break 100 lbs. Who flaunt their fashion skinniness by wearing a shirt with a sweater on top and then a huge scarf and wrapping a belt around all of it to show off that even with all those clothes their waist is still 25 inches. Hmmmm could anyone else wear that outfit and not look ridiculously chubby..... NO! Don't get me wrong I think it's great that's their fashion style. To each their own (which is probably what most people think when they see me every day) But come on, if you're doing a fashion blog PLEASE don't just see how many clothes you can pile on and then belt it up! PLEASE! I'm sick of it.

But what am I going to do? Sit and complain? Maybe. But I figure maybe I'll start doing some of my fashion styles on here. I'm a little nervous because I'm not a magazine photogenic girl like these other bloggers, but oh well. Also, I'm going to focus on when you are walking down the road thinking you look pretty dang good, but then you see someone's style who you love and you feel like you just got blown out of the water. So then you go home and try to look like them, but it just isn't you and you feel like you look like a total goober so you take you clothes off and wear your pjs the rest of the day. I'm going to try (being the key word here) to see a style and change it to fit me and the clothes I already have. Thus I will feel pretty and comfortable, and R won't get mad about me spending all our money on shoes.

This is my next project. (besides being beautiful like this one) I am going to make this belt. Miss Emerson Made makes some amazing things that I totally wish I could buy, but since I don't have $300 to blow I decided to make my own. Go figure. Hopefully I'll be off to the leather store this weekend and with the help of R I should be able to master the Emerson belt. Thank you and good night.

It's getting close to my birthday again and I am just day dreaming of all the beautiful things I would love to have. Really if I could have Anthropologie dress me every day I would be the happiest girl in the world.

I want want want some colored tights, but am nervous to take the plunge. Do you think I could pull it off?
